HOME CHEESE MAKING PRINCIPLES WITH ANNELIEN PIENAAR
Annelien Pienaar is an expert in cheese making as well as sourdough bread baking. In 2009 she started her successful Cookery school for the Food Hobby market in an old dairy stable on their farm close to Hartebeespoortdam.
Her first knockout cookbook was published with the title: Boerekos met ‘n Twist. The book is aimed, like her website and social media accounts, to educate, save time, money and to take care of your family’s health. The book now in it’s second edition will soon be available in English. From the success of her book follows the TV show Boerekos met ‘n Twist, on VIA TV, channel 147, where she continues to imprint the theme: To Live from the land…fresh from the garden to the table…no to all processed foods filled with preservatives. Annelien’s enthusiasm shines through in her voice and her smile as she speaks about her subject matter.
We are thrilled and privileged to have her in our kitchen sharing her tremendous wealth of experience and knowledge of the food with our guests.
