Brett’s Garden Quotes

“The garden at African Relish is still looking lovely for this time of year. Some annual flowers are fading, while others are having a resurgence. The gardeners are diligently saving seed, to sow in the Spring, while autumn sowings have begun with flowers such as Sweet William, Snapdragons, and Larkspur. I will still sow Ammi and Scabious. The food gardens have been producing aubergines, sweet peppers, peppadews, tomatoes, celery, basil, carrots, three types of chillies, and fruits of strawberry, pomegranate, quince, kei apple, granadilla, while the olive trees are laden with fruit.

We will also being sowing beetroot and carrots directly, and I have sown various brassicas in trays on the farm for AR” says Brett, our in-house horticulturist.
