What’s it all about… a recreational cooking school? We set out to bring a culinary experience to the town of Prince Albert. The town has many producers of delicious produce such as figs, olives, lamb, pork, vegetables, honey, cheese and dairy products and the list goes on. They provide the local and seasonal ingredients that make up our cooking classes year round. Besides wanting our guests to enjoy the awesomeness of the Karoo and the town itself, we aim to bring a whole lot of fun into our kitchen. Our cooking courses range from half to full day, whether you are looking to perfect your pastry making, cook up a potjie or just pick fresh herbs for a summer salad, a class in our kitchen turns a day into a culinary experience.

We recommend a minimum of a two night stay. Our cottages are self catering. In summer we make use of our pool filled with water which runs down the pavement canals from the mountains. In winter we have a wood fired oven roaring. Guests are able to design a particular menu on a date that suits you or look out for our scheduled gourmet getaway weekends or classes. We cater for groups, families, friends and the individual wanting to spend more time with us mastering the basics.
So we invite you to stay and join us in our kitchen.
