We are delighted at African Relish recreational cooking school to have the legend Karen Dudley of The Kitchen in Woodstock coming to our school over Easter 30 March – 1st April.
The 3 day Easter weekend begins on Good Friday the class will learn, cook and eat together at African Relish with a delicious menu including seared tuna stuffed with anchovy and creme fraische white beans, salsa verde and fennel confit, green medley with black sesame seed dressing and Japanese tomatoes and stewed quinces.
Saturday morning includes wreath making and egg painting. For lunch we will prepare cauli steak with Indian spices and a coconut coriander relish, black rice with kimchi, nori and pear, a red cabbage salad with dill and cranberries and a potato bread with black garlic horseradish aioli.
The main meal will be a marinated seared slow roasted leg of lamb dish with scrumptious vegetables and the figs still in season. Beetroot orange fennel date salad, saffron rice with edamame and sesame, celery slaw and preserved lemon and courgette tabbouleh ending with a chocolate cake decorated Camilla.
Easter Sunday a scrumptious Turkish style breakfast and hot cross bun baking.
