The essence of Mediterranean cuisine is founded in abundance and generosity. We follow a similar philosophy here at African Relish by celebrating the abundance of our local produce and producing food with big bold and warm flavours which reflect our Karoo environment and the spirit of generosity that is South African.

Enjoy the summer with us as we venture outside to pick and cut ingredients from the garden and turn them into wonderful meals to enjoy under the olive trees. Al fresco is the name of this game as we move between the kitchen garden, the kitchen table and the braai or barbecue.  Join us as we pickle lemons, roast peppers on the fire, dress generous fresh salads and cook lamb and sausages over live coals. There are worse ways to spend a day.
